An ongoing problem within all sport is concussions. within the past couple of years, the issue of these concussions and their chronic injuries formed later in life have become more and more public. The seven technology was developed to effectively reduce the number of concussions. On impact, the seven technology compresses and distributes the energy creating a softer blow for the athletes. The Pro7, which was the first helmet to utilize the seven technology, was groundbreaking and by far the most technologically advanced.
I find the concussion problem occurring across all sports growing rapidly. This type of technology can revolutionize how helmets are constructed in all sport. The amount of money that can be lost through lawsuits are obviously not something the leagues want but overall the concern is player safety and this technology could be the first step in preventing and controlling the concussion problem in sport.

Hopefully the league will see less problems with concussions and hopefully other leagues will jump on the bandwagon and make safer helmets as well.

These helmets should be added to all contact sports because the issue of concussions is growing everyday. Reducing injuries and blows to the head could revolutionize sport safety again.
